Al Zaytouna, renowned for its contemporary interpretation of the traditional Palestinian dance form dabke, created a dance-theatre production exploring the complex existence of a young man from Gaza living in exile in the UK. Diverse audiences at sold-out performances at London’s RichMix and Cockpit Theatre engaged in post-show discussions around the lived reality of being a Muslim and a Palestinian in Britain today. Al Zaytouna also delivered joyful dabke workshops at different London locations.
