Jewish and Muslim female artists curated two evenings of storytelling, spoken word and discussion, creating a welcoming atmosphere at the Jewish Museum in London and a Birmingham Mosque for their all-women audiences from the Muslim and Jewish communities. Celebrating the rich and diverse tradition of storytelling in both cultures, focusing on women characters and exploring timeless themes in ancient stories enabled interactions which broke down boundaries and misconceptions.
