Print and Matter’s Artist Talk Series invites an exciting range of practitioners working across art, design, photography and printmaking to present their work and discuss the significance of printing and publishing within their art practice and/or research. The talks take place at The Old Print Works in Balsall Heath in Birmingham. The talks are free to attend and open to all, especially those curious about print and self-publishing!
Artist Sabba Khan will share insights into the working process behind her award-winning autobiographical graphic novel, The Roles we Play. Composed of 30 interconnected stories, the graphic novel explores themes of identity, belonging and memory within the East London Azad Kashmiri Muslim diaspora.
There is no booking required, the venue is wheelchair accessible and the talk will be BSL interpreted.
