The Community Play/ The Seven Ages of Patience 2019

The Kiln engaged with a wider range of Muslim community groups in the London borough of Brent to encourage Muslim participation in its community play, The Seven Ages of Patience. Based on the oral histories of local people and performed by a community cast of almost 100, the play celebrated everyday people and their lives in Brent. It was performed to sold-out houses and the majority of the audiences were new theatre goers.
