Project Partner: BE Festival Location: Birmingham Programme: Part of Amal Connects 2019
In 2019, young people from Birmingham worked together and with artists over a week of workshops to create a powerful and moving performance which showcased at the Birmingham Rep. In 2020, because of Covid, they moved online, developing deeply personal, confident and inspirational spoken word. The programme enabled BE Festival to forge new links with Muslim artists.
