Print and Matter: Exhibition and Publication Launch

One of My Kind (OOMK) are launching a four-week exhibition featuring large prints of work produced during the Print and Matter project using the Risograph printing technique under the guidance of artist Sofia Niazi.

A new publication that explores some of the themes that arose during the programme has also been produced and will be available to pick up throughout the day. The exhibition posters are displayed in The GAP’s event space and cafe, these are the spaces where much of the group’s learning and activity took place both formally, and perhaps more importantly, informally.

Print and Matter is an OOMK project, Supported by Amal and designed especially for Muslims in the West Midlands wanting to explore connections between religious practice and art making.
