Project Partner: Tower Hamlets School Library Service Location: London Programme: Part of the Amal Pilot 2017
Students at 5 schools in Tower Hamlets participated in workshops run by Muslim poets who, along with school teachers, benefited from training from the Poetry Society. The students explored their lived experience through poetry culminating in the performance of their work at London’s Soho Theatre where they were joined by established poet Hussain Manawer.
