The ancient Persian tradition of storytellers travelling from town to town with illustrations painted on canvas as their backdrop was brought to life at high profile book festivals. In interactive workshops led by storytellers and illustrators and drawing on Tiny Owl Publishing’s beautiful books, young people were introduced to the universal themes of love, friendship and freedom that are explored in the rich Persian literary heritage.
