In 2019 Amal’s programme at Greenbelt, curated by Asad Ali Jafri, brought a global line-up of Muslim artists (from dance to music, food to comedy, poetry to panel discussions) to this annual festival of art, faith and justice in the Christian tradition. In 2021 the programme went online with No Normal, four short films commissioned from Muslim artists responding to the Covid times they had been living through.
