An original piece of music, inspired by Syrian poet Adonis’s poem ‘Letter to Goethe’, was composed by Benjamin Ellin and Louai Alhenawi, and performed by contemporary fusion ensemble Tafahum (including the ney, oud, qanun, violins and other instruments) at London's historic Wilton's Music Hall, to mark the launch of A New Divan, a Gingko project bringing together some of the world's leading poets from the "East" and "West" for a lyrical dialogue with the "Other".
