Re-Fuel sent four playwrights, supported by emerging theatre directors, into four inner London secondary schools: Mulberry School for Girls, Swanlea School, Hampstead School and Regent High School. Through a series of imaginative drama exercises, students developed characters and storylines focused around a minicab office. The writers gathered the students’ ideas and developed them into plays that were performed to public audiences with great success at Rich Mix and Theatre Royal Stratford East.
