Join the The Arab British Centre and The Barakat Trust for an afternoon of family activities at Leighton House, as part of their In Search of Arab London event series for the London Festival of Architecture.
What is ‘Home’? Is it the people you love? Is it a roof over your head? Is it a place of our own, closed off from the outside? Is it where the heart is?
Join them for a fun-filled workshop for families exploring notions of home as part of the London Festival of Architecture. They’ll be watching ‘The Damascene Home’, a ten-minute film commissioned by The Barakat Trust about the traditional residential architecture of Damascus. There’ll be a special tour of Leighton House’s spectacular Arab Hall, and you’ll have the opportunity to design your own Damascene dream home.
