The Hijabi Monologues: The young Muslims in Britain using the arts to reclaim their culture
A number of projects in the UK are using cultural events to promote a nuanced view of Muslims in a polarised political climate
The Bradford Literature Festival, in association with Provident Financial Group, returns for a third year to celebrate the written and spoken word in all its forms. Amal will be supporting a range of sessions across the 300 events that are packed into iconic venues over 10 days (30th June – 9th July). The festival brings together world-renowned authors, musicians, artists and public figures and explores subjects as diverse as comics, history, gender politics and British Islam.

These are a few things we hope to gain inspiration from each month.
We’re pleased to welcome 16 new advisors to Amal.
Since the relaunch of our grant applications, we’ve partnered up with English Touring Theatre (ETT) to bring back #TheOthelloProject.
