Kamal Kaan’s Rumi-influenced script for The Rose and the Bulbul (Nightingale), interpreted through Tudor music, Indian chant, song and Kathak and Bharatanatyam dance, was performed by a multicultural cast of professional artists and young dancers from a community dance group to diverse audiences, interacting with nature in beautiful gardens in London and Luton.
