Moriam Grillo worked with other local artists to design and build an Islamic art inspired fountain, with over 500 people handmaking and glazing the 3,000 tiles used to construct it at workshops across Luton. Unveiled at Stockwood Park to an appreciative audience with storytelling, spoken word and song on the International Day of Peace, the fountain’s setting highlights the cultural connections between English and Islamic gardens.
